Chevrolet’s FindNewRoads.com harnesses the power of IBM Watson’s cognitive analysis APIs to measure individual’s online positivity through their social posts. The site also determines personality insights and makes activity recommendations based on them.

Chevrolet believes that finding new roads of opportunity starts with a little positivity. To prove it, we created the world’s first gas pump that takes online positivity as payment and placed them all over the world. For those who couldn’t make it to the pump, we created FindNewRoads.com.

After choosing your social media account, IBM Watson contextually analyzes a selection of your latest posts. Measuring positivity is just the beginning. Watson also returns a detailed personality profile along with a series of recommended activities based completely around Watson’s findings. And to help stay accountable, the site encourages sharing of the new activity with your friends for some moral support.
